If you are collecting payments and have a GoCardless account and you’re looking to reach out to the GoCardless Support team, you may be asked to provide certain pieces of account information.
Here’s a guide to helping you find important account details on your GoCardless account:
- As an active GoCardless user with a registered email address
- As a GoCardless user without a registered email address
As an active GoCardless user with a registered email address
As an active GoCardless user, you will have a registered email address linked to your GoCardless account. The user access level can be read-only, read-write or administrator to access most account information, however we may need to have administrator approval for taking certain actions on the account.

- How to find the last two digits of your Payout Bank Account (which you’ve set up to receive payments from GoCardless)

How to find the email address linked to your account (this is the email address you use to log into the GoCardless Dashboard)
This will be the email address you use to log in to the GoCardless Dashboard.

If you log in automatically, you can go to ‘Settings’ ‘User settings’. This will show you the email address you used to log in with.
(Settings is at the top-right of your Dashboard, where you see the cog).
If you cannot log in, you can click Forgotten password?

This will allow you to attempt to send a password reset to the correct email address.

If you don’t receive an email after following the step above, it’s likely that the email address you’re entering does not have a GoCardless account associated with it.

If you receive an email with a password reset link, then you have the correct email address.
How to find the last two digits of your Payout Bank Account (which you’ve set up to receive payments from GoCardless)
This is the bank account which you’ve set to receive payments from GoCardless.
To find this, please follow these steps;

Click on Payments Payouts.

Please click on the top Payout.

Now, look for the line ‘Creditor account’. You should see an entry that starts with ‘BA’, this is a hyperlink.

Please click on the hyperlink.

You should now see the last two digits of the Payout bank account used for the relevant Payout.

If you have Administrator access to the GoCardless dashboard, there is another path you can follow.

Click on ‘Settings’

Now, select ‘Company info’, or click this link

Once you’re in, please click ‘Edit account details’

At the top right of your screen, you will see Account details with three horizontal lines beside it. Please click on the three dots.

This will bring in a new menu from the left. Please click on ‘Add bank account’.

You will now see the bank account details to share the last two digits with the GoCardless Support team member.

When you are ready to return to the main GoCardless dashboard, simply click on the link at the bottom left corner of your screen
How to find the most recent payout amount and the date it was paid
This is the most recent payout you received from GoCardless.
To find this, please follow these steps:

Click on Payments Payouts.

Please click on the top Payout.

Scroll down to “Details”

Under “Created” you will see the date the payout was paid out to you

The payout amount can be found under “Net amount”
How to find the most recent customer added to your GoCardless Dashboard
This is the most recent customer added to your GoCardless Dashboard.
Please note that it’s not necessary for them to have made a payment, it’s simply the name at the top of the list. Here’s how to find them;

Please click on the ‘Customers’ tab on the left-hand sidebar, or click here.

Now you can see a full list of your customers, the name at the top is the one you’ll need to share with the GoCardless Support staff member.

If you don’t have customers yet, then please confirm this with the GoCardless team member.
As a GoCardless user without a registered email address
As a GoCardless user without a registered email address, you won’t have access to the GoCardless account of the organisation you wish to discuss.
We need to ensure that we are speaking with an ‘active user’ of a GoCardless account, and as such will need you to pass security before we can share account specific information with you. Please note: We may need to have administrator approval for taking certain actions on the account.
In terms of passing security, you can choose any one of the following options:
- Have an administrator of the account add your email address as a user
- Confirm key information about the GoCardless account
Have an administrator of the account add your email address as a user
Important: This option is ideal if you plan to contact us regarding account specific information on an ongoing basis.
An administrator of the GoCardless account will need to follow the “adding team members” guide here.
Please note: Once you have been added as a user, you must login to activate your account. Failure to do so will mean that we will not be able to see you as an ‘active user’ and will cause further delay in our ability to assist you.
