Schemes and Requirements
The information below is applicable for all merchants looking to add additional payment schemes to their GoCardless account.
To request a new scheme to be added to your account, please complete our New Scheme Request form.
ACH (United States) 🇺🇸
Using the ACH payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in USD from US bank accounts. In order for us to enable the ACH scheme on your GoCardless account, you will need to have a US bank account or a multi-currency account (such as with Transferwise) with an ACH routing number to receive payouts.
Autogiro (Sweden) 🇸🇪
Using the Autogiro payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in Swedish Krona from Swedish bank accounts. In order for us to enable the Autogiro scheme on your GoCardless account, you will need to have either a Swedish bank account or a bank account that can support Swedish transfers (via Leverantörsbetalningar).
Bacs (UK) 🇬🇧
Using the Bacs payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in GBP from UK bank accounts. To receive GBP payouts, your bank account will need to accept Bacs Faster payments if it’s a UK account, or Bacs International payments if the account is based outside of the UK.
BECS AU (Australia) 🇦🇺
Using the BECS payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in AUD from Australian bank accounts. In order for us to enable the BECS scheme on your GoCardless account, you will need to have either an Australian bank account or a bank account that can support AUD transfers.
BECS NZ (New Zealand) 🇳🇿
Using the BECS NZ payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in NZD from New Zealand bank accounts. In order for us to enable the BECS NZ scheme on your GoCardless account, you will need to have a New Zealand bank account or a multi-currency account (such as with Transferwise) to receive payouts.
Betalingsservice (Denmark) 🇩🇰
Using the Betalingsservice payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in Danish Krone from bank accounts based in Denmark. In order for us to enable the Betalingsservice scheme on your GoCardless account, you will need to have a Danish bank account to receive payouts.
PAD (Canada) 🇨🇦
Using the PAD payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in Canadian dollars from Canadian bank accounts. In order for us to enable the PAD scheme on your GoCardless account, you will need to have a Canadian bank account.
SEPA (Eurozone) 🇪🇺
Using the SEPA payment scheme, you are able to collect bank debit payments in EUR from bank accounts based in the Eurozone. In order for us to enable the SEPA scheme on your GoCardless account, you will need to have either a EUR bank account or a bank account that can support EUR transfers (via SEPA Credit Transfer).
