Switching on Intelligent Retries in connected apps

To get intelligent retries running for payments that are created via a connected app, you will need to make sure Success+ Intelligent retries are enabled in that application. Once you’ve switched it on, your failed payments will be automatically retried according to the schedule you’ve configured in your GoCardless dashboard.

What if the partner I use doesn't support Success+ Intelligent retries?

If you have switched on Success+ Intelligent retries in your GoCardless dashboard, but the partner that you use to create your payments doesn't support the feature yet, then any payments created through the partner software will not be automatically retried. If you were to create any payments on the GoCardless dashboard, these would be automatically retried if they failed.
