Once a customer has authorised payments to you, a Direct Debit mandate is set up against their account.
To find a customer’s mandate, click on the Customers tab, then click on a specific customer.
If you click into the customer’s bank account listed under Bank Accounts, you will find their mandate.
When you click on a mandate within a customer’s bank account, you can view:
- the mandate’s status
- the date it was created
- the earliest time, if you set up a payment now, you could charge them
- the Direct Debit scheme that the mandate has been set up within e.g. Bacs or SEPA
- the mandate reference
- the mandate’s history
- any payments collected against this mandate
- any subscriptions set up against this mandate
Cancelling a mandate
To cancel a Direct Debit mandate in the new dashboard, you’ll need to click into the chosen mandate and then click the red Cancel button in the top right hand corner of the screen.
To confirm this cancellation, please click Cancel mandate. You'll no longer be able to collect payments from the customer under this mandate.
