Customers must fill in the online Direct Debit Instruction form themselves and ensure they provide us with their own email address when doing so, so that we can send them payment notification emails.
Please be aware that signing customers up yourself by taking their details and inputting them into the online form is one of our restricted activities in our terms of service (see point 21 here) and can result in account closure.
It only takes a few minutes for customer to fill in the online form. You can send the Direct Debit authorisation form to your customers by email or put a link to the form on your website.
Once customers have completed the online authorisation this will automatically update in your dashboard.
