Please note: This information is specific to the GoCardless for Salesforce application.
Any payment can be cancelled before GoCardless has submitted it to BACS. However, refunds can only be issued after a payment has been paid out, and they are only available to GoCardless Pro customers.
1. If you wish to refund or cancel a payment, navigate to the payment record and press the “refund / cancel” button
2. You’ll then see the refund / cancel dialog, where you can either choose to cancel the payment entirely, or refund a specified amount (up to the original amount of the payment).
Note that you may only cancel a payment if it has not yet been submitted to the bureau, and you may only refund a payment if it the payment has a status of “paid out”.
