Recognising resource IDs
Every resource created has a distinctive prefix within its ID to help identify what kind of resource it is. Resource IDs will also be unique across GoCardless.
Please note that the length of the resource ID may be longer than shown here, as we continuously increase it in our product when needed; however, the length will never exceed 255 characters. We recommend allowing for longer resource IDs in any systems you build.
