Two-step sign in provides an additional layer of security to your account by adding a second authentication method to your account login process. Once enabled, you will be required to enter a code generated through an authenticator app or sent to you via SMS, immediately following the successful completion of the standard email+password login step.
Setup authenticator app
- Open your dashboard and click Settings
- Select User settings
- Scroll down to Two-step sign in
- Click the Authenticator app toggle button so it turns green
- Open your chosen authenticator app - this can be on your phone, laptop, or other device
(If you don’t already use an authenticator app, we provide several recommendations alongside the configuration settings)
- Follow your app instructions to either :
- Scan the QR code, or
- Enter the secret key
- Enter the six-digit code into the dialog box and click Confirm
Setup SMS method
- Open your dashboard and click Settings
- Select User settings
- Scroll down to Two-step sign in
- Click the SMS authentication toggle button so it turns green
- Enter your mobile phone number into the dialog window and click Confirm
