The information below is applicable for all merchants looking to add additional Direct Debit schemes to their GoCardless account. To request a new scheme to be added to your account, please complete our New Scheme Request form.

Schemes are tied to the country or region where your customers are based. As such, for each country your customers are based in, you will need to enable the scheme for that region. Your customers will be charged in their local currency i.e. the currency of the scheme.

Yes, providing your bank account meets the payout criteria as outlined above.
Please note, some banks may charge to receive international payments. Please check with your bank if you are unsure about this.
What currency will I receive payouts in?
How can I add another Direct Debit scheme to my account?
To add another region to your GoCardless account, please fill out our New Scheme Request form here.
Our team will then enable the scheme on your account and confirm once done. Once confirmed, you will then need to add your bank account to receive payouts for funds collected through that scheme.
How do I add another bank account?
You can add an additional bank account in the same way as you did when adding your first bank account. This is done via the GoCardless Onboarding flow and can be accessed here. This option is available to you once the new scheme is enabled on your account.
Please note: Once you add your new bank account, your payouts will be temporarily disabled across all schemes while you complete the verification process for this bank account.
I use GoCardless via a partner integration. Can I take payments from overseas customers?
This will depend on which 3rd party integration you are using us with and whether they have enabled multiple payment schemes in their integration. We recommend getting in touch with the partner directly to enquire as to whether this functionality is available.
