Why is GoCardless on my bank statement?
GoCardless processes Bank Debit payments on behalf of other businesses and organisations.
These businesses and organisations create payments for their customers using our system, and we then process them according to the parameters they have set.
Identifying a payment made via GoCardless
If you’ve seen GOCARDLESS LTD appear on your bank statement and are unsure what the payment relates to, you can use our secure payment lookup tool to find out who you’re paying and what for.
You will be asked for the following information:
- Where is your bank account based?
- How much was the payment?
- When was the payment taken?
- The last 4 digits of your account number
- Your sort code
If, for any reason, this still doesn't return a result, please submit a support ticket, and we can provide you with some more information. Please send us as much of the following information as you can to help us locate your payment:
- Your billing postcode
- The amount paid
- The date it was paid
- The mandate reference*
