Revoke app access
If you currently have a partner integration or app connected to your GoCardless account and wish to remove it, you can revoke the app access directly from within your GoCardless dashboard.
Why do I need to revoke app access?
You may wish to revoke app access in the following situations:
- You currently use a partner integration/app that you no longer want to use
- You want to use a new partner integration
It’s always recommended to revoke app access in these situations, as doing so ensures that payments are no longer created against invoices/requests raised in a partner integration/app.
Please note: Payments already created via a partner integration/app before the access was revoked will continue to be collected as usual. If you no longer wish to collect these payments, provided they’re in the “pending submission” status, you must cancel them separately.
How to revoke app access
- In your GoCardless dashboard, click on Settings in the top right corner
- Next, click on Connected Apps
- You will now see a list of apps that are currently connected to your account
- Click Revoke access
- A confirmation window will open; confirm the action by clicking on Revoke access
