If you're operating as a sole trader, we're required to verify your identity. We do this by collecting your name, date of birth and residential address.

If we haven't been able to verify your bank account due to the trading name, we'll reach out via email as soon as we've received your verification payment.
To verify your account, please follow the instructions in that email and send us a reply confirming that you are a sole trader.
We always attempt to verify your identity electronically using the details you enter (your name, residential address and date of birth).
However, if this check doesn't pass automatically, we need to collect supporting documents from you to prove your identity - ID and a proof of address document.
