If you have signed up after the 6th of July or you have already been migrated to our new pricing plans, you can request a downgrade of your account at any time through your GoCardless dashboard.
Important: If you have signed up before the 6th July 2023 and on our previous pricing plans you will not be able to downgrade your account through your GoCardless dashboard. You will need to reach out to our Support team to request a downgrade.
It’s important to note that downgrading your account may mean that you lose access to certain features:

If you currently have one or both of our optional add-ons enabled on your account then the following will apply to the downgrade process:
Downgrading from Pro or Advanced to Standard:

Removing add-ons without downgrading your account
If you wish to remove any of your add-ons from your account, without downgrading to a different package, you will need to reach out to our Support team.
The downgrade process
Important: Please be advised that the new plan will take effect next month if the request is submitted no later than two business days before the current month concludes.
To change the plan on your account, an administrator of the account will need to follow these steps:

Click on Settings in the top right corner and select Company info

Click Edit account details

Next, click on Account details in the top right corner

From the navigation menu on the left, click select a package

Select the plan you wish to downgrade to by clicking on either Downgrade to Standard or Downgrade to Advanced (depending on the package you’re on)

The administrator will then be taken to a page where they can submit the pricing plan change request. By clicking on the request a plan change button, the request will be submitted.
Once submitted, they will receive an email confirming that the request has been received.
