Receive your funds
Once GoCardless collects a payment from your customer, the funds are automatically paid out to your bank account — typically within 1–3 business days, depending on the bank debit scheme. This article explains how the standard payout process works, including how transaction fees are handled and why you receive one lump sum per currency per day.
Once a payment has been collected from your customer(s), the next and final step in the process is for those funds to be paid out to you.
IMPORTANT: You must verify your account before you can create payments.
Each business day, we take the positive balance in your GoCardless account and pay it out to you. You will receive a maximum of one lump sum payout per currency payments were collected in, per day. You will receive the gross (full) amount if you have a volume-based committed contract with us; otherwise any applicable transaction fees will be deducted prior to the funds being paid out to you.
The time it takes to receive your funds once collected varies depending on where both your customer and your payout bank account are located. Typically though, the process takes 1-3 business days, depending on the bank debit scheme used. (Find out more about bank debit here).
When a new payout is generated for you, you will receive a payout email informing you of the details.
