As controller of your clients’ data, you will need to obtain the data required for us to recreate your clients’ authorisations (mandates). You may already have access to your clients’ data, but in most cases you will need to request this from your existing payments processor.
Your clients’ data, once obtained, will need to be formatted into the respective columns in our mandate migration csv templates. You must use the csv template that corresponds to the bank debit scheme (and currency) that your clients’ payments are collected in.
Please note: Access to the Import Tool is enabled by your Onboarding Manager prior to the agreed date of your client migration (bulk change). To obtain the csv template earlier, please ask them to send this over to you directly. |
Follow the steps below to obtain the csv template(s) you need to continue with the bulk change process.
- Open the Imports section of your dashboard; either by clicking here or navigating to manage.gocardless.com/imports
- Click Import
- Select the appropriate Migrate [bank debit scheme] mandates (Cur.) option from the list
- Click Download template for [bank debit scheme] mandates (CSV) in step 1
Once the download is complete, open the file to find the required data field columns ready for your client’s information to be added.
You will need to obtain your clients’ data from your existing payment processor before you can complete the next step. We recommend that you request this from them at the earliest convenience. |
