Please be aware that this article only applies to merchants using our Pro package or above. If you're currently using our Standard package but are interested in upgrading to Pro, please see our Pricing page for further information.
Our custom payment pages feature enables merchants to provide their customers with a bespoke experience right from the start.
Instead of using the standard GoCardless online Direct Debit authorisation form, you can create your own online payment pages to collect your customers’ details. In addition, you can also use paper mandates or an approved phone transcript if preferred.
Having your own customised payment pages means that you can provide your customers with an on-brand, seamless, and moreover tailored experience right from the start of their relationship with you and your business. These do not need to include any information about GoCardless - as far as your customers are concerned, their relationship is with your business only!
Requesting your own payment pages
You will need to request custom payment pages if you want to use:
- Customised online payment pages
- Paper mandates
- Phone transcripts
If you are interested in using custom payment pages please get in touch with your Account Executive or raise a ticket with our support team, letting us know which custom details collection method(s) you're interested in using.
Once you have requested that custom payment pages are enabled on your account, having advised us which method(s) you wish to use, the set up process will be as follows:
- We will provide details of the criteria that must be met to ensure your payment pages are compliant with scheme rules.
- Once you've created your payment pages, you'll need to send a copy to us for approval. (If they do not meet the requirements, we will let you know what needs to be done to make them compliant).
- Once we can confirm that your custom payment pages passes all requirements, we will enable custom payment pages on your account.
You can find out more about compliance requirements for online payment pages here.
