Updating your name and/or email address
The first section you’ll find on this page allows you to update the name and email address associated to your user account.
Once you've entered a new email address you'll be asked to enter your password before you can save your changes.
When you enter your password, the Save changes button will will become available. You can then click it to save your new email, making it the active admin email address on your account.
NOTE: This is now the email address you would enter when logging into your GoCardless account.
Updating your password
The section below the Personal details box is where you can update your password.
When changing your password, you will need to enter your existing password in the first text field, followed by your new password in the second field. Your new password needs to be a minimum of 12 characters to be accepted, and differ from your previous password.
We strongly recommend using a combination of UPPER and lowercase characters, numbers, and special characters (e.g. !, *, £, etc.).
Once you have filled in these two fields, the Save changes button will activate for you to click and save your changes.
We recommend the use of a password manager, such as 1Password or LastPass, to store your passwords securely in encrypted form. Please avoid writing them down on a piece of paper or saving them insecurely on your computer or phone.
