You can disable 2-factor authentication by logging into your account and accessing your settings page.

Scroll to the 2-factor authentication section and click on Disable.

You will be prompted for password confirmation and a 6 digit code that will be either generated on your authenticator app or sent to your phone via SMS, depending on which method you initially set up.

Enter the password for your account user and the code and click Submit.
You have now disabled 2-factor authentication for your account.
How to disable 2-factor authentication if a user on your account is unable to log in
If you are an Administrator of a GoCardless account, you can disable another user's 2-factor authentication, if they can no longer log in to their account.
To do this you will need to log into your account and navigate to the team page after clicking on Settings.

Choose the user from list and click on their name

On the page that opens, scroll down to and click on Disable 2FA.

We recommend that the user sets up their 2FA again as soon as possible, by logging into their own account and following the steps shown in this article.
Please note: If you are the sole user on an account or are unable to use the options shown above for any other reason you will need to follow the steps outlined in this article.
