Changes coming into effect on the new Pricing Plans

• Our pricing plans no longer have a monthly fee. Instead, a select number of optional individual features and add-on services will have separate monthly costs, making it easier than ever for you to customise your plan.

• Transaction fees are no longer charged on only successful payments and are instead charged on all submitted payments regardless if these are successful or not. Chargeback, refund and failure fees may also apply.

• Offline mandates are now available, allowing you to collect payments from customers online and via a paper mandate and over the phone.

• Verified Mandate & Success+ feature can only be accessed via the new Advanced or Pro Plans. 

• You will be able to access the “Brand colour on sign-up form” feature, allowing you to customise our hosted payment pages to match your brand

• You will have access to the “Merchant name on customer bank statement” feature (subject to an additional monthly fee), allowing you to have your name on customer’s bank statements instead of GoCardless.  

• Access to the “Custom Checkout Experience” feature (subject to a monthly fee) is now available via the new Advanced & Pro Plans.

Collecting & managing payments

The ability to collect payments from customers via Direct Debit, Instant Bank Pay (both recurring and one-off payments) and International payments remains the same on our old and new pricing plans.

In addition to this, payments collected via GoCardless can be refunded in full or partial amounts on both our old and new pricing plans.

Please note: The ability to process your own refunds is enabled on a case-by-case basis subject to meeting certain requirements. If you would like to have this feature enabled, please submit your request here.

Products & features: Creating mandates via paper/phone (offline mandates)

We understand that collecting your customer’s payment authorisation via an online form isn’t always possible, or doesn’t match how you would normally interact with your customers. 

To help with this, we now offer paper and phone authorisation (otherwise known as offline mandates) options on all our pricing plans. You can find more information here.

Products & features: Verified Mandates, Success+ (Intelligent Retries) and Protect+

Verified Mandates & Success+ are no longer part of the Standard plan and can only be accessed via the new Advanced Plan or Pro Plan.

Protect+ is now available to all the merchants and can be accessed via the Pro Plan.

Products & features Branding & Customisation

The ability to add your business logo on the sign-up form remains available on all pricing plans. 

Adding your brand colours to the sign-up form is now available on all pricing plans.

Your name on customers’ bank statements is now available as an optional “add-on” feature on all our pricing plans. The add-on is subject to an additional monthly fee.

If you wish to fully customise the checkout experience, you can utilise the Custom Notifications & Custom Payment Pages with your Advanced or Pro plan as an add-on. The add-on is subject to an additional monthly fee.
