Here's a few example email templates you could use to send your customers new authorisation requests via your own email account, so that they can begin making payments through GoCardless.
You would need to copy the general authorisation link from within your dashboard (via the Add Customers button on the Customers page) to paste into the appropriate place in the email.
1. New customers
Welcome to [Company name]!
Dear [Customer name],
Welcome to [Company name], we are very excited to have you onboard as a new customer!
To complete your signup, please complete this form [insert hyperlink to your online mandate form] to set up your Direct Debit. This allows us to take future payment as and when due.
2. Existing customers you want to move onto Direct Debit
IMPORTANT – making payment to [Company name]
[Company name] is moving all customers to Direct Debit. Please note:
- Direct Debit will save you time
You will no longer need to pay manually each time. After you update your payment details (see below), your payments will be taken automatically each time they’re due. For your peace of mind, note that you are fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
